Villebernier / Montjean

Three days to cross the Loire and experience the river in a different way.
After a transfer from our base, embark at Villebernier for a 75km descent, with two nights bivouacking on the riverbank.

The Loire Valley Journey

This 75km descent over three days is a true immersion on the Loire.

From our Pagaies de Loire base in Montjean, we take you by shuttle to Villebernier, the embarkation point located near Saumur.

You then travel down the river at your own pace, with approximately 25 km of navigation per day, through the natural landscapes typical of the Loire: wild islands, sandbanks and large natural banks.

Each evening, you set up your bivouac by the water, to fully enjoy the peace and quiet of nature.

The descent ends in Montjean-sur-Loire, at the Pagaies de Loire base.

An ideal experience for those who wish to experience a true journey along the river.
